Van and Minivan Deals: August 2014
Searching for a new van can be hard, but finding a good deal on one doesn't have to be. Our list of van and minivan deals rounds up some of the top incentives and special offers available on a series of vans and minivans through the end of August.
Chrysler Town & Country
The Chrysler Town & Country is a popular minivan that offers a greater emphasis on luxury touches than its Dodge Grand Caravan stablemate. In August, the 2014 Town & Country also offers strong incentives for shoppers interested in leasing, financing and paying with cash. For cash buyers, Chrysler is offering up to $2,500 off all Town & Country models. For those looking to lease, Chrysler is touting a 36-month term with payments from $269 per month after $2,999 down at lease signing. For qualified shoppers looking to finance, the 2014 Town & Country is available with 0 percent interest for up to 60 months -- an offer that can be coupled with up to $1,000 cash back.
The Dodge Caravan is a popular minivan that shares many mechanical components with the slightly more upscale Chrysler Town & Country. In August, the 2014 Grand Caravan offers several strong incentives that roughly mirror those available with the Town & Country. For qualified drivers looking to finance, the Grand Caravan is offered with 0 percent interest for up to 60 months, plus up to $1,000 cash back. For shoppers looking to pay in full, the Grand Caravan is available with up to $2,500 cash back. For lease shoppers, the Grand Caravan is offered with a 36-month term that touts payments from $239 per month after $2,999 down at signing -- a slightly better deal than the Chrysler, given the Town & Country's more upscale equipment.
Ford Transit Connect
The compact Ford Transit Connect is a fuel-efficient new commercial van that offers less room but better maneuverability and fuel economy than traditional full-size cargo vans. In August, the 2014 Transit Connect is offered with several incentives to help entice shoppers looking for a new van. The best is for qualified drivers interested in a low interest rate, as the Transit Connect touts 0 percent interest for 36 months and 1.9 percent for 60 months. Those paying in full can also get a good deal, as the Transit Connect is offered with up to $1,500 cash back through the end of the month.
The Honda Odyssey is one of today's most popular minivans. Given that it's available with a long list of safety and convenience features and a powerful yet efficient V6, it's easy to see why. This month, it's even more appealing thanks to three special incentives from Honda. The first is a 36-month lease deal: It offers nothing down at lease signing and payments from $330 per month. For drivers interested in a lower payment, the Odyssey is also available with $2,499 down and payments from $269 per month. Finally, all Odyssey models are available this month to qualified shoppers with 0.9 percent interest for up to 36 months or 1.9 percent financing for up to 60 months.
The Toyota Sienna is a well-regarded minivan that shares most-popular honors with the Honda Odyssey and Chrysler's Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan twins. In August, the Sienna offers possibly the best deal. For lease shoppers, the Sienna is already a good buy, with payments from $299 per month for 36 months after $2,998 down at lease signing, but it's an even better choice if you're a qualified shopper interested in financing. Toyota is offering the 2014 Sienna with 0 percent interest for a whopping 72 months -- the longest 0 percent deal in the minivan market.
