Van and Minivan Deals: May 2013
Shoppers interested in a new van or minivan this month have come to the right place. We've listed today's best van and minivan deals on some of our favorite models. And while we can't be there to help you select the van that's right for you, our list may be able to steer you toward the models that offer the best value throughout May.
The Chevrolet Express is a full-size van offered in both cargo and passenger configurations. In May, it's available with two major incentives. For shoppers looking to pay cash, the 2013 Express is offered with up to $1,000 back -- a deal that applies to passenger and cargo versions, from the base-level 1500 model to the heavy-duty 3500. Drivers looking to finance the Express can get zero percent interest for up to 48 months. That deal is also offered on passenger and cargo versions in 1500, 2500 and 3500 grades.
Dodge Grand Caravan
The popular Dodge Grand Caravan competes with minivans such as the Toyota Sienna and Honda Odyssey. In May, it's available with incentives, whether shoppers are looking to finance, lease or pay with cash. For cash buyers, Dodge is offering up to $2,500 back on all Grand Caravan models, except the base-level AVP. That trim is only available with up to $1,500 cash back. For those looking to finance, Dodge is offering zero percent interest for up to 60 months on most trim levels, plus up to $1,000 cash back. And lease shoppers can get a 36-month lease on a Grand Caravan SXT with payments starting from $299 per month after $2,999 at lease signing.
Ford Transit Connect
The Ford Transit Connect is a compact van aimed at commercial shoppers. It's available with a few deals in May for shoppers interested in a more efficient cargo van. The best deal is a cash back offer for those looking to pay in full. Through the end of the month, the Transit Connect is available with up to $1,000 cash back. Drivers also can take advantage of a limited-time 2-year or 30,000-mile free maintenance plan if they buy a Transit Connect by the end of June. And Ford is offering Transit Connect buyers up to $350 in upfit cash, as well, which allows them to customize the Transit Connect for their business needs. Finally, for shoppers looking to finance, Ford is offering the Transit Connect with 1.9 percent interest for up to 36 months, or 2.9 percent for 48 months.
Nissan offers an alternative to the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey and Chrysler's minivans with its boldly styled Quest. In May, the Quest is available with several incentives. Shoppers interested in financing can get zero percent interest for up to 36 months, plus up to $500 cash back. For drivers who would rather lease, Nissan is offering a 39-month deal on the Quest S with payments from $259 per month after $2,999 down at lease signing. But the best deal is for buyers paying in full. That's because Nissan is offering up to $3,500 cash back on the Quest through the end of May.
The Toyota Sienna competes with the Honda Odyssey and Chrysler's twins for the title of the most popular minivan in the U.S. Shoppers looking to lease a Sienna can get a 36-month lease deal on the van with $2,668 at lease signing for $269 per month. For drivers looking to finance, Toyota is offering the Sienna with zero percent interest for up to 60 months. There aren't any cash back deals this month, though we'd probably recommend cash buyers take the automaker's zero percent offer anyway.
