Wagon Deals: February 2014
While it seems that there are fewer station wagons on the market each year, several models are still available. If you're a driver who doesn't need minivan sizing or SUV ground clearance, we've listed the best station wagon deals available this month on several of our favorite new models.
The Honda Crosstour is part wagon and part hatchback -- but with available 4- or 6-cylinder engines and front- or all-wheel drive, it's all practical. In February, Honda is offering the Crosstour with several lease and finance deals. For drivers looking to lease, the Crosstour can be had with payments from $229 per month for 36 months after $1,999 down at lease signing. Drivers who would rather put nothing down can get a 35-month term with payments from $280. Finally, for qualified shoppers looking to finance, Honda is offering the 2014 Crosstour with 0.9 percent interest for 36 months -- a deal that extends to 60 months for the 2013 model.
The Subaru Outback is an all-wheel-drive wagon with SUV styling cues and raised ground clearance. In February, it's offered with several incentives for shoppers looking for a good deal on their next family car. For qualified drivers looking to finance, Subaru is offering 0 percent interest for up to 36 months on both 2013 and 2014 Outback models. If you'd rather lease, Subaru is offering the 2014 Outback with a 36-month term that includes payments from $269 per month after $1,969 down at lease signing.
Toyota Prius v
The Prius v is the largest and most family-oriented member of Toyota's fuel-efficient Prius family. Offering five doors and a large cargo area, the Prius v provides an SUV alternative for shoppers who don't need all-wheel drive or extra ground clearance. In February, the 2014 Prius v is offered with two incentives. For drivers looking to lease, Toyota is touting payments from $279 per month for 36 months after $2,678 down at lease signing. For those who would rather finance, Toyota is offering 0 percent interest for up to 36 months on all 2014 Prius v models.
Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen
The Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen is a compact wagon that offers exceptional practicality. In February, the Jetta SportWagen boasts incentives for shoppers looking to lease or finance. For drivers looking to lease, Volkswagen is offering two deals: Gas-powered models get a 36-month term with $2,349 down and payments from $219, while fuel-efficient diesel models get the same term, the same down payment and monthly payments from $289. For qualified drivers looking to finance, Volkswagen has two deals available: 0.9 percent interest for 60 months on the 2014 Jetta SportWagen, or 0 percent interest over the same term on leftover 2013 models.
The Volvo V60 is the newest wagon around. Based on Volvo's sporty S60 sedan, the V60 offers handsome styling, increased practicality and available all-wheel drive. In February, shoppers looking to lease a V60 get the best deal. Volvo has two offers available: a 36-month term for the front-wheel-drive V60 with payments from $345 per month after $3,845 down, or the same term and down payment for an all-wheel-drive model with monthly payments from $359. Volvo is also offering up to $1,000 in options allowances on all V60 models through the end of the month. That incentive works like a gift card, allowing you to select $1,000 in options for free.
