While many shoppers think you have to spend a little extra to buy a fuel-efficient new car, that isn't always the case. We've listed some of the top green car deals available this month, proving that you can buy a fuel-sipping car and still save money.

Chevrolet Volt

The Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid hatchback that offers drivers the ability to use electric power or a range-extending gasoline engine. In November, Chevrolet has incentives available for drivers interested in leasing, financing or paying with cash. For cash buyers, Chevrolet is offering a whopping $7,000 cash back on the 2013 Volt, and that's before government tax credits. Qualified drivers looking to finance will also get a deal, as Chevrolet is touting 0 percent interest for up to 48 months. And if you're looking to lease, the Volt is available with payments from $269 per month for 36 months with $2,509 down at lease signing.

Ford Focus Electric

The Ford Focus Electric is a fully electric 5-door hatchback with an EPA-certified 76-mile range. In November, the 2013 Focus Electric is offered with several incentives. For qualified drivers looking to finance, Ford is offering 0 percent interest for up to 60 months. Or you can get 1.9 percent interest for 72 months. Either way, both deals can be combined with $4,000 cash back, making the Focus Electric far less expensive than its base price might indicate. And if you have to have a 2014 model? Plan on 0 percent interest for 36 months, 0.9 percent for 48 months or 1.9 percent for 60 months.

Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf is a fully electric hatchback capable of traveling around 70 miles on a single charge. In November, it's also a great deal thanks to several incentives from Nissan. One offer is for drivers interested in financing: Nissan is offering 0 percent interest on all 2013 Leaf models for up to 36 months. But the best deal on the Leaf is a lease offer. Through the end of November, shoppers looking to lease a Leaf can get monthly payments from $199 per month for 36 months after $1,999 down at lease signing. That's an even better deal when you remember that you'll never have to pay for gas or oil changes.

Toyota Camry Hybrid

The Toyota Camry Hybrid is a midsize sedan with a hybrid engine and gas mileage numbers that rival a compact car's. In November, shoppers can take advantage of two incentives on the Camry Hybrid. For those looking to finance, Toyota is offering 0 percent interest for up to 60 months -- a deal that extends to 2013 and 2014 models. Drivers who would rather lease also get a deal, as Toyota is touting payments from $249 per month for 36 months with $2,648 down.

The Toyota Prius is a 5-door, 5-seat hatchback that's among the most popular cars in the U.S. It's also known for excellent gas mileage, as it returns more than 50 miles per gallon in the city. Through the end of the month, Toyota is offering two strong deals on the Prius. For qualified drivers looking to finance, the 2013 Prius is available with 0 percent interest for up to 72 months.
