Toyota Prices 2012 FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Land Cruiser
The 2012 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid see no change in price over 2011. The gasoline models range from $28,090 for the basic FWD four-cylinder trim, to $37,045 for the Limited V6 model. The base Highlander Hybrid begins at $38,140, while the Highlander Hybrid Limited starts at $43,795.
Toyota's rugged FJ Cruiser will also remain virtually unchanged for 2012. The colorful, compact SUV looks like it was inspired by a surf movie from the 1960's, with distinguishing characteristics like a signature white roof and wrap around rear window. The rear-drive base model starts at $25,990, while the off road capable 4x4 V-6 model begins at $27,580. The FJ Cruiser has many features that appeal to drivers with a more active lifestyle; including water resistant seating, a rubber floor for quick clean up, and underbody skid plates.
The higher-end 2012 Land Cruiser received a slight price increase from last year's base price. The full-size SUV now begins at $69,120. The Land Cruiser combines luxury with off road capability, making it an ideal choice for an adventurous driver who isn't afraid of a little affordable opulence, although some prefer the Land Cruiser's pricier cousin, the Lexus LX, at $79,455 MSRP. The SUV has a 5.7-liter V-8 engine that provides 401 horsepower, standard leather seating, and a 14-speaker JBL sound system.
