2018 Volvo XC60: Geneva Auto Show - Video
The XC60 is long overdue for an update, and this new version looks like it's making up for lost time. The 2018 Volvo XC60 is longer, wider and has more safety tech -- it really looks like a junior-sized XC90.
The XC60 is Volvo's best-seller so getting it just right is important. We like the new look, especially up front.
In terms of safety, there's driver-assist steering, and Volvo's Pilot Assist semi-autonomous system can handle acceleration, braking and steering at up to 80 miles per hour.
An updated City Safety system and a feature that helps avoid head-on collisions -- it's called oncoming lane mitigation -- is part of the XC60 package, too.
Engine choices for the new 2018 Volvo XC60 will include a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, a turbo and supercharged 2.0-liter in the T6, and there's likely a plug-in hybrid T8 good for 400 horsepower.
