Relatively unchanged this model year, the 2005 Ford Excursion rolls into the season as a big and capable SUV with seating for up to nine passengers (depending on the model), plenty of room for hauling cargo, and enormous towing capacity. The Excursion is offered in four trim levels ? the base XLS, the XLT, the Eddie Bauer edition, and the Limited. Engines range from a 255 horsepower 5.4-liter gas-powered V8 to a 310 horsepower 6.8-liter V10. There is also a diesel version that generates 325 horsepower from a 6.0-liter diesel V8.
