Available in FWD or AWD, Tucson's GLS, SE, and Limited trim levels can be had with a 2.0-liter 140 hp 4-cylinder mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic delivering up to 20/25 mpg city/hwy. Choose the optional 2.7-liter V-6 with automatic, and the Tucson achieves 18/24 mpg city/hwy. It all sits on a 103 inch wheelbase which provides a smooth comfortable ride for the quiet interior that can be optioned up with leather, heated seats, and a power sunroof. All Tucson trims have 6 airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, and 5-star front and side crash protection. Competing well with Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Ford Escape, the Tucson is a practical and well-liked option in its segment.
