In 2009, the Infiniti FX50 replaces the FX45 at the top of the midsize luxury crossover SUV model line, sporting a more powerful engine, a redesigned interior and exterior, and a host of new features. EPA-estimated fuel economy for the FX50 is 14 mpg city/20 mpg hwy. As shown in Infiniti FX50 photos, among the many luxury features are chrome trim accents on the lower door and side vents on the exterior, while its ultra-luxurious, five-passenger interior features quilted, leather seats, hand-stained maple wood trim and solid magnesium paddle shifters. Safety features include antilock disc brakes with brake assist, front-seat-mounted side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, traction and stability control, an advanced lane-departure warning system and the new intelligent brake assist.
