After its debut last year, the Infiniti G37 Coupe gains an all-wheel drive trim in 2009, but all other trims remain rear-wheel drive. The G37 Coupe is powered by a 3.7L V6 engine that pushes out 330 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque and comes with VVEL technology, which is Variable Valve Event and Lift for intake valves to improve performance, emissions and fuel efficiency. In Base and Journey trims, the G37 comes with a paddle-shifted five-speed automatic transmission, while the Sport features a six-speed manual transmission with overdrive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 18 mpg city/24 mpg hwy; however, the Sport trim gets 17/26. Among the many standard safety features are an anti-lock braking system with brake assist, electronic brake force distribution, traction control, vehicle dynamic control, a tire pressure monitoring system, an advanced air bag system and front-seat active head restraints. Accommodating four passengers, Infiniti G37 Coupe photos feature a shapely body style built on Infiniti's enhanced FM platform and is one of Car and Driver's 10 Best Cars for 2009.
