The Outlander comes standard with FWD and a 4-speed automatic transmission but can be upgraded to AWD and a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel mileage is an EPA 23 mpg city and 28 mpg highway or 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, depending on engine selection. Options include magnesium paddle shifters, aluminum roof, 18-inch wheels, LED taillights, HID projector headlamps, heated leather seats, flap-fold tailgate, and navigation. Safety features are comprised of active stability control, anti-lock brake system, and six standard airbags. The Outlander qualifies for a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty.
