Pontiac is cleaning out its line-up, and the 2005 Grand Am is among the cars singing its swan song this model year. The automaker says it plans on replacing the Grand Am with the G6. The Grand Am is currently offered in two door Coupe body styles, in GT and GT1 trim levels. Both come equipped with a 175 horsepower 3.4-liter V6 with front wheel drive and a 4-speed overdrive-enabled automatic transmission as standard. Comfort and convenience features include air conditioning, cruise control, power accessories, an adjustable steering wheel with audio controls and MP3.
