Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Hybrid Information
Available on a limited basis in all 50 states, the Silverado Hybrid offers a 5.3Liter V8 engine that produces 295HP along with a 14,000 watt electric generator that works closely with the engine to increase fuel economy by 10%. An electric motor replaces the conventional starter and alternator creating an almost seamless transition from gas to electric power. The 1500 Classic Hybrid is available in 1LT or 2LT trim and option levels in either two or four-wheel-drive configuration.
