The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, one of the best selling American SUVs, comes available in a variety of trim levels, including LS, LT and LTZ, in either two or four wheel drive (in ¼ ton 1500 or ¾ ton 2500 configurations). The base engine for the 2008 Chevy Tahoe is a 4.8-liter V8 generating 295 horsepower and 305 lb.-ft of torque, with a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. in the base two wheel drive 1500 LS version. The Tahoe comes nicely equipped with dual zone climate control, power accessories, lumbar seats, adjustable pedals and AM/FM/CD/MP3.
