The Ford Freestyle nameplate lives on this year with a new badge the 2008 Ford Taurus X. In addition to being renamed, the Ford Taurus X now features a 263 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 60 more horses than the Freestyle. Available in SEL, Limited and Eddie Bauer trim levels, with your choice of FWD or AWD, the Ford Taurus X is a four door, six passenger Crossover equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, ABS brakes, front/side-body/side-head airbags, traction control, dual zone climate control, a navigation system, lumbar seats and a trip computer.
