Available in Laredo, Limited, Overland and SRT8 trim levels in either two or four wheel drive the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee continues tradition as a rugged yet refined SUV. Engines range from a base 210 horsepower 3.7-liter V6 to the top-of-the-line SRT8 420 horsepower 6.1-liter V8 with a 5-speed automatic transmission. In addition to solid off-road capabilities, the Grand Cherokee comes nicely equipped with plenty of comfort and convenience features, including air conditioning, cruise control, full power accessories, navigation, lumbar seats and AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio.
