Undergoing interior and exterior styling renovations with virtually nothing changed under the hood the 2008 Mercury Mariner boasts a bolder exterior design and a better-looking interior than before. Offered in three trims the base 4-cylinder, the mid-line V6 and the Premier the Mariner features engines ranging from a 153 horsepower 2.3-liter in the base to a 200 horsepower 3.0-liter V6 in the mid-line and Premier models. Safety equipment includes ABS brakes, traction and stability control and a rollover sensor. Luxury amenities include AM/FM/CD/MP3/Satellite audio.
