Buick Lucerne Information
Upgraded for 2008, the Lucerne gets a mid-model refresh with several new safety design features that transition it closer to the luxury car segment than ever before. The base model features a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces 200 horsepower, and the 3.6-liter increases power to 240. The Lucerne Super is the most powerful of the group (replacing last years CSX model) with a NorthStar V8 generating 292 horsepower and 288 lb-ft. of torque up in horsepower and down slightly in torque from its predecessor. Now standard on the Super is Stabilitrac and Magnetic Ride, both options that were available on the prior model.
