Jeep Compass Information
Compared to last year, the 2008 Jeep Compass remains virtually unchanged. It features a 172 horsepower 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder with a 5-speed manual transmission (or a Continuously Variable Transaxle automatic as an option). The Compass is offered in two trim levels the Sport and the Limited in either two or four wheel drive. In addition to a nice list of standard equipment that includes air conditioning, cruise control and heated seats, the Compass also features plenty of safety features, including front/side-body/side-head airbags, ABS brakes and traction control.
