The Mitsubishi Raider lineup has been downsized for 2008, and the Durocross and SE trim levels have been dropped. Mitsubishi Raiders are now powered by a 3.7L 210-hp V6 with 235 lb-ft of torque, and last year's optional 4.7L 235-hp V8 has been discontinued. The 2008 Mitsubishi Raider mid-size pickup truck comes in two body styles -- extended cab and "Double Cab" crew cab -- and a single LS trim level. The Raider Double Cab is available in either 2WD or 4WD; the extended cab is 2WD only. A 4-speed automatic transmission is standard on Double Cabs, while extended cab models come with a Getrag 6-speed manual, and automatic transmission is an option. The Raider extended cab has reverse-opening rear doors and a 6-ft 6-in bed, while the Double Cab has 4 full-size doors and a 5-ft 4-in bed. The extended cab's optional Power and Convenience Package buys you much of the Double Cab's features.
