2014 Ford Mustang Overview

Fierce as ever, the 2014 Ford Mustang is a coupe/convertible pony car available in V6, GT, and Shelby GT500 trim levels. The base Mustang is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 305 hp/280 lb-ft of torque while the GT is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that yields 420 hp/390 lb-ft of torque. Upgrading to the monstrous Shelby GT500 trim significantly increases output to 662 hp and 631 lb-ft of torque. Transmission options consist of a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and Tremec 6-speed manual (GT500). Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimate range of 15 mpg city to 31 mpg highway, depending on trim selection. Features include glass roof, adjustable performance features, electronic power assist steering, rearview camera, navigation system, heated seats, and hands-free capabilities. Safety is comprised of anti-lock braking (ABS), brake assist (BA), stability control (ESC), and advanced airbags. The Mustang is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
