2013 GMC Terrain Overview

Now available in a Denali trim level, the 2013 GMC Terrain is a mid-size crossover SUV with seating for five and a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 lbs. The Terrain is powered by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 182 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque. For increased performance GMC offers an optional 3.0-liter V6 engine that yields 264 hp and 222 lb-ft of torque. Standard 4WD and optional AWD are paired to the same 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 17 mpg city to 32 mpg highway, depending on drivetrain and engine selection. Features include automatic climate control, premium Pioneer? sound system, rear vision camera, power sunroof, heated front seats, power liftgate, and remote start. Safety is comprised of advanced airbags, forward collision alert with lane departure warning, rear vision camera, StabiliTrak stability control system, OnStar, and tire pressure monitoring. The Terrain is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
