2013 Kia Sportage Overview

Largely unchanged for the current model year, the 2013 Kia Sportage is a compact crossover available with FWD and 4WD. The Sportage is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 176 hp and 168 lb-ft of torque. For increased performance Kia offers an optional 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that yields 260 hp and 269 lb-ft torque. Transmissions are comprised of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 21 mpg city to 32 mpg highway, depending on engine selection. Features include 18-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, navigation system, USB input jacks, hands-free phone capabilities, back-up warning, push-button start, cooling glove box, leather interior, heated/cooled seats, and satellite radio. Safety is comprised of advanced airbags, anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control (TCS), brake assist system (BA), electronic brake distribution (EBD), downhill brake control, hill assist control, and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS). The Sportage is backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
