The new vehicle is a foot longer, with a wheelbase four inches longer than before and an overall width three inches greater. Sixteen-inch wheels and a lower ride height have created better ride comfort, according to the Toyota brand's official release.
Scion's outfitted the new xB with the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine from the tC worth an extra 55 horsepower, now at 158 hp total. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed sequential automatic.
The cabin gains some flexibility - the front passenger seat now reclines fully, and the second-row seats have trays underneath for secure storage for laptops, cameras, and the like.
