Until Audi can deliver an electric supercar, the gasoline-powered R8 continues to evolve. The Audi R8 Spyder's first North American appearance gives convertible-conscious Californians another car to crave. Its Lamborghini-derived direct injection V10 produces 525-horsepower and propels all four wheels to a 195 MPH top speed.
The R8 Spyder offers an impressive all-LED exterior lighting pack, and features slightly cleaner side bodywork to differentiate itself from its closed-top counterpart. Convertible shoppers should expect the R8 to arrive at Audi dealerships just in time for summer.
