If you get to the Exotic Vehicle display at the Philadelphia Auto Show first thing in the morning, you can hear the motors revving in the ragtop vehicles as the booth ambassadors lower the convertible tops. You’ll hear the lovely cadences at closing time as well, when they zip up the convertibles for the night.

The sound is stunning and so are the cars. The fenced-in display (no touching here) features sparkling new exotics that include three Aston Martins, three Bentleys, two Rolls-Royces, three Maseratis and two Lamborghinis.

But the buzz was all about the Lambos as the crowd pooled around the Superleggera and the LP 560-4 Spyder convertible.

We caught up with two young women who looked like they escaped from a TV reality show.

The ladies were dying to pose — they said they always wanted to be “car girls”--and eager to talk.

“It’s a sexy, hot dream car for some people,” offered Gaby. “As a female I prefer a Ferrari.”

Heather added, “I wouldn’t go for a man who would drive this. These are movie cars… guys who drive these cars are too old for me.”

“This car is a guy’s thing,” remarked Heather, who owns a zippier 2007 Pontiac. “For guys it’s less about the looks and more about the power. For me, it’s about the looks.”

At that, Gaby hugged her movie star handsome boyfriend and quipped, “I’m all about the looks and the power — it has to be the total package!”

Then again, some would say that the Lamborghini LP- 570-4 Superleggera is the total package. For $237,600, that is. But what you get is rock star curves, a super 5.2 LV-10 engine with 570 horsepower, 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. If you’re going to have a fantasy, this is a good starting point.
