Does dad need a new car? There's no better time than Father's Day to get your dad - or husband - some brand-new wheels. And while car supplies are tight, there are still some good deals to be had on new cars in June. Sure, it may not be the sports car he's dreaming of, but we think dad will appreciate saving a few bucks on some sensible cars to haul around the family - at least until the kids are gone and he can start shopping for a convertible.
2011 Toyota Camry
Toyota has a great deal throughout June on America's favorite family car: zero percent financing for 60 months. Or you can choose attractive lease deals starting under $200 a month. Either way, this makes the 2011 Camry an attractive choice for dads looking to step out of an older used car or smaller sedan and into something new and roomy. The low financing rate is even available for the gas-saving Camry Hybrid for dads looking to maximize their fuel efficiency.
2011 Volkswagen Tiguan
While the VW Tiguan is a bit small for some families, its modest size makes for impressive fuel economy - and the interior is surprisingly spacious. For dads who can get by without a large SUV or a minivan, the Tiguan may be just the car, especially with June financing deals as low as zero percent for 60 months. That financing deal should have some dads looking twice at Volkswagen's small SUV, even if they hadn't considered it before.
2011 Toyota Sienna
Let's face it, dads: sometimes you just have to make sacrifices for your family - and a minivan is often just that. But as the recent Toyota Sienna ad campaign has shown, buying a minivan doesn't mean you can't still enjoy your vehicle, thanks to loads of technology, a powerful V6, and sporty styling. Best of all, Toyota is offering 1.9 percent interest or $500 cash back on the Sienna throughout June, a rare incentive on a recently released model. Daddy like.
2011 Hyundai Veracruz
While the Hyundai Veracruz is less well known, it's an underrated competitor in the midsize SUV game. With appealing features like a strong 260-horsepower 3.8-liter V6, a six-speed automatic, and a host of standard safety features like anti-lock brakes, traction control, an antiskid system and front side and side curtain airbags, dads can enjoy the Veracruz whether pulling away from a stoplight on their commute home or taking the kids to soccer practice. They'll also enjoy the savings throughout June, with Hyundai offering zero percent financing or $1,000 cash back on the crossover.
2011 Ford F-150
Sometimes dads just need a pickup truck - and during June, Ford is offering some great deals on its 2011 F-150 for any fathers looking to do just that. Depending on trim level, current incentives include zero percent financing for up to 60 months or up to $4,500 cash back, making it easy for dads to pick up the most popular truck in America. Just don't expect to find any deals on the aggressive SVT Raptor - Ford isn't offering any incentives on its toughest truck.
2011 Chevrolet Corvette
OK, so maybe dad should check out at least one sports car - especially if this is the year the kids go off to college. And if you're in the market for performance, what's better than a good deal on a 2011 Chevrolet Corvette? Chevrolet is offering 1.9 percent financing on its V8-powered screamer - a great deal considering the sports car's meaty 430-horsepower 6.2-liter V8, slick six-speed manual, and generous standard features list that includes a limited-slip differential, dual-zone automatic climate control, automatic headlights and 19-inch alloy wheels. But if dad's a convertible guy, he'll need to look elsewhere - this month's financing deal is only available on the hardtop 'Vette.
