Summer is winding down, and that means fall's cooler temperatures and vibrant colors are just around the corner. For many Americans, the end of summer also signals the best time to buy a convertible since the summer's scorching heat is dying down, the foliage is stunning - and the deals are plentiful. We've searched far and wide to find some great deals on brand new convertibles, and they're listed below - just in time to enjoy the best season for top-down driving.

BMW 328i convertible

Through the end of September, BMW's heavily-praised 328i convertible is available with 1.9 percent APR financing to qualified buyers. While it may be the base-level 3-series, the 328i features a 230-horsepower turbocharged 6-cylinder engine and several upscale standard features like dual-zone automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels and memory for the driver's seat and mirrors. The 3-series convertible also boasts one of the most subtle hardtops around, capable of convincing even the most seasoned car enthusiasts that it's actually a coupe. Four usable seats round out selling points for the droptop 3-series, which starts around $46,000 before destination.

Chevrolet Camaro convertible

Although Chevrolet's exhilarating Camaro convertible debuted only recently, the automaker is already offering qualified buyers an incentive on the sought-after ragtop: 3.9 percent APR financing for 60 months through October 31. While it may not be a cash back deal, the offer is rare for such a new model. Boasting a standard 3.6-liter V6 producing 312 horsepower or an optional 6.2-liter V8 making 426 horses in manual guise, all versions of the Camaro have plenty of power. And with the $33,000 LT convertible's standard features including Bluetooth, 19-inch alloy wheels and leather upholstery with heated front seats, the topless Camaro is also the perfect car to take in the cool breezes of a mild fall.

Chrysler 200 convertible

While Chrysler's 200 convertible may not provide the excitement of a BMW or Camaro, the soft top includes all the basics necessary to enjoy a season of top-down driving. Standard features include a power convertible top, four usable seats, a 6-speed automatic transmission, XM satellite radio and automatic climate control - all for around $27,000 including destination. The 200 is an even better deal through the end of October thanks to zero percent financing for qualified buyers, or $1,500 cash back - an offer that increases to $2,000 cash back for military veterans.

Infiniti G37 convertible

If you're looking for a lease, Infiniti is offering an impressive deal on its G37 convertible through the end of September. According to the automaker, qualified buyers can now sign a 39-month lease for a G37 convertible equipped with the desirable premium and navigation packages for just $519 per month. Although the offer requires $3,499 down, it's a great deal considering the car's $50,000-plus base price - and an equipment list which includes a rear obstacle detection system, heated and cooled front seats, a navigation system with voice recognition, Bluetooth, a rearview camera plus keyless access and push button start. The G also includes a folding hardtop as well as one of the best exhaust notes outside of a Ferrari.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder

Although Mitsubishi recently announced plans to discontinue its Illinois-built Eclipse Spyder, the sporty convertible is still well-equipped, fun to drive and - through October 31 - a great deal. That's because the automaker is offering qualified buyers the chance to own the ragtop with zero percent financing for 36 months, offering the deal on both the 4-cylinder GS and sporty V6-powered Eclipse GT. While standard features on the Eclipse GS include anti-lock brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels and keyless entry, the exciting Eclipse GT is the version to have thanks to its standard Bluetooth, rearview camera, XM satellite radio, automatic transmission, and heated leather seats. The GT features a wild 265-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 which propels the convertible to 60 mph in just six seconds.
