As more and more "green" electric and hybrid vehicles enter the market, automakers are increasingly offering special deals and incentives to boost sales. After searching through today's top special offers on environmentally-friendly vehicles, we've listed some of the best deals below to help guide car shoppers looking to pick up a fuel-efficient new vehicle this month.

Chevrolet VoltChevrolet Volt

Although we also included it in last month's list, we remain taken by current incentives available on Chevrolet's plug-in hybrid Volt hatchback. According to the automaker, qualified buyers looking to finance the vehicle - rated at up to 95 miles per gallon "equivalent" by the EPA - can get zero percent interest rates for up to 60 months. Buyers looking to lease get an arguably better deal on the Volt, which starts at $39,145 before tax rebates, thanks to 36-month lease offers with monthly payments as low as $349 per month. While that offer requires a substantial $2,499 due at signing, the hatchback remains an incredibly efficient car available throughout April at a great price.

Ford Fusion HybridFord Fusion Hybrid

With an all-new Fusion sedan on its way, Ford is finally extending its incentives to cover the fuel-efficient Fusion Hybrid in addition to its gas-powered counterparts. According to the automaker, buyers looking to pay cash can get up to $1,500 back on the 2012 Fusion Hybrid through the end of June, while car shoppers interested in financing through Ford Credit can qualify for interest rates as low as zero percent for 60 months or 1.9 percent for 72 months, plus $250 cash back. Indeed, while the rarely discounted Fusion Hybrid may be nearing the end of its life cycle, its EPA-rated fuel economy of 41 miles per gallon in city driving coupled with a long list of standard features and Ford's newly announced special offers should help keep it on your list.

Honda Civic HFHonda Civic HF

The Civic Hybrid may be the most fuel efficient Honda Civic available, but the streamlined Civic HF - for "high fuel efficiency" - isn't far behind. According to the EPA, the miserly model can achieve 29 miles per gallon in city driving or a whopping 41 mpg on the highway, placing it only three miles per gallon behind the Civic Hybrid's highway figure. Through the end of April, the automatic-only Civic HF is also a great deal, with the automaker advertising lease rates as low as $179 per month with $1,999 due at signing. That's a whopping $60 per month less than the Civic Hybrid's advertised lease rate, making the Civic HF the best buy among highly-efficient Hondas.

Infiniti M HybridInfiniti M Hybrid

If you've been swayed by advertisements touting the Infiniti M Hybrid as the world's fastest production hybrid, you may be interested in two April incentives designed to make the sporty hybrid's $53,700 base price more attractive. According to the automaker, well qualified buyers interested in financing an M Hybrid over 60 months can get interest rates as low as 1.9 percent, while buyers looking for lower payments can get 2.9 percent interest for up to 72 months. Unfortunately, attractive lease deals available on gas-powered M models don't carry over to the M Hybrid, which doesn't include any special lease offers in April.

Mazda CX-5Mazda CX-5

Although the newly released Mazda CX-5 doesn't offer any advanced hybrid technology, the EPA says that the compact crossover is officially the most fuel efficient SUV available, with an official rating of up to 35 miles per gallon in highway driving. It's also available with two attractive incentives throughout April: one, for car shoppers interested in leasing, offers monthly payments as low as $239 with $2,999 down, while another touts interest rates as low as 0.9 percent for up to 36 months. While neither offer matches available incentives on some of the CX-5's aging competition, both represent good deals for an SUV that's barely been on sale for more than a month.

What it means to you: Don't think great deals on green cars aren't available just because saving the planet is "in."
