With so many models available on the market today, picking the right minivan is a challenge. And while we can't choose the right minivan for you, we can help by listing today's top minivan deals. Shown below are several such incentives, which should help buyers make a good decision as they sift through the myriad of available engines, configurations and models offered by today's automakers.
Dodge Grand Caravan
is advertising two special offers on its 2013 Grand Caravan minivan throughout October. According to the automaker, shoppers interested in financing the van can get interest rates as low as zero percent for up to 36 months, while buyers paying in full can get up to $1,000 cash back. Dodge is offering even better deals on leftover 2012 models, touting zero percent interest rates for up to 60 months, up to $1,750 cash back or 36-month lease rates starting at $279 after $2,999 down.
Several deals are available on the popular 2012 Honda Odyssey throughout October. According to the automaker, buyers interested in financing an Odyssey can get interest rates as low as 0.9 percent for up to 60 months, or 1.9 percent for up to 72 months. For shoppers who would rather lease a 2012 Odyssey, Honda is touting two separate deals: zero down and $310 per month for up to 36 months, or payments as low as $259 per month with $1,999 due at signing. Unfortunately for shoppers interested in a 2013 Odyssey, Honda has yet to announce any incentives for the latest model year.
Due to its compact size, many minivan buyers overlook the Mazda5 in pursuit of a full-size van to haul kids, sports equipment, musical instruments and other items. But for families who can fit, we think the Mazda5 offers a strong value thanks to its good fuel economy and low sticker price of around $20,000. In October, the Mazda5 is an even better deal due to a new offer from Mazda: According to the automaker, shoppers interested in financing the van can get zero percent interest for up to 60 months. And even though the automaker is no longer running its promotion touting no payments for 90 days, the latest deal allows buyers to buy a Mazda5 interest free with a longer term than the earlier 36-month incentive.
Shoppers interested in a futuristically styled Nissan Quest can take advantage of several incentives in October. According to the automaker, buyers interested in financing the truck can get interest rates as low as zero percent for up to 36 months plus $500 back, or 0.9 percent for up to 60 months with the same cash back deal. For shoppers who would prefer to lease, Nissan is offering interest rates as low as $299 per month for 39 months after $2,999 at lease signing. And for buyers looking to pay cash for a new Quest, Nissan is advertising up to $2,750 cash back--one of the top offers among today's crop of minivans.
The popular Toyota Sienna is available with several incentives in October, whether shoppers are looking for a leftover 2012 model or a brand new 2013. Buyers interested in the former will find the best deals, as Toyota is offering zero percent interest on 2012 Sienna models for up to 60 months--a good offer on a popular van. For shoppers paying with cash, Toyota is offering up to $1,000 back, while lease customers will find 36-month deals starting at $279 per month with $2,999 down. For buyers eager to get their hands on the latest and greatest, Toyota has one incentive available on its 2013 Sienna: 1.9 percent interest for up to 60 months, or zero percent for 48 months.
What it means to you: Several great minivan deals make buying a new van an attractive proposition in October.
