Searching for a station wagon isn't always easy. Many automakers have stopped making them, and several models are high-end luxury cars. But we've listed a few of today's top wagons -- and the best wagon deals -- for shoppers looking to get a new station wagon for a good price.
Acura TSX Sport Wagon
The 2013 Acura TSX Sport Wagon is a front-wheel-drive luxury model that offers the sedan's fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine and extra practicality. In August, the TSX Sport Wagon is available with three incentives. For qualified shoppers looking to finance a TSX Sport Wagon, Acura is offering 0.9-percent interest for up to 36 months. For those who would rather lease, Acura has two offers available: a 35-month lease with nothing down and payments from $360 per month, or a 36-month lease with $1,999 down and monthly payments starting at $309.
Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon
The 2013 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon offers a little extra practicality beyond what the already-sporty CTS sedan can provide. While the cargo area isn't cavernous, the model boasts fold-flat rear seats that can give the car exceptional carrying capabilities. In August, it's also available with a strong incentive. Through the end of the month, shoppers interested in financing a 2013 CTS Sport Wagon can get 0-percent interest for up to 60 months -- a good deal that also extends to the muscular CTS-V Sport Wagon.
The Subaru Outback is a midsize wagon with SUV styling and standard all-wheel drive. In August, it's available with several strong incentives. For qualified drivers looking to finance their next car, Subaru is offering the Outback with two deals: 2013 models get 0-percent interest for 36 months, while 2014 models get 0.9 percent over the same term. Lease shoppers also get a good deal, as Subaru is offering the 2013 Outback with a 42-month lease term and payments starting at $265 per month after $1,965 down at lease signing.
Toyota Prius v
The 2013 Toyota Prius v offers a larger, wagon-like take on the highly efficient traditional Prius model. Through the end of the month, the 5-door Prius v is offered with two incentives -- one for shoppers looking to lease and the other for drivers who would rather finance their next car. For lease shoppers, the Prius v is offered with a 36-month term and payments from $279 per month after $2,678 down at lease signing. Qualified drivers who would rather finance can get a Prius v with 0-percent interest for up to 48 months.
The 2013 XC70 is one of the few remaining vehicles that offers a luxury take on the wagon market. Featuring off-road-oriented styling and raised ground clearance, the XC70 comes standard with all-wheel drive. Through the end of August, it also boasts an impressive lease deal. Volvo says that qualified shoppers looking to lease a new XC70 can get one for 36 months with payments from $435 per month after $2,899 down at signing. That makes the XC70 just $15 per month more expensive than the XC90 all-wheel-drive crossover.
