The Sienna minivan was completely redesigned for the 2011 model year so there aren't many changes to the 2012 model.

The van is available in five different trim levels: Sienna grade, LE, SE, XLE, and Limited. Sienna can be had with either a 266 horsepower 3.5 liter V6 engine, or a cheaper 2.7 liter four cylinder engine.

The only real changes to the Sienna for its second year are in the XLE edition. The mid-level minivan now gets power passenger seats and automatic on/off headlights as standard for the new model year.

The Sienna's prices have been increased for 2012. Toyota announced the increase will average out to around $174 for the entire lineup, but some models will see more change than others. The seven passenger SE model, for example, will cost an additional $2,090 over the 2011 version, while the V6 Limited model will see no change at all.

Surprisingly, the difference in fuel economy between the Sienna's two available engines is pretty negligible. The V6 offers 18 city MPG with 25 on the highway, while the four cylinder can give 19 MPG in the city and 24 on the highway.

The V6 LE, XLE and Limited versions can be fitted with all wheel drive (The only minivan to offer the option), that can make driving in snow easier, but at the cost of one city MPG and two on the highway.

The Sienna's safety features are made up of multiple can's worth of alphabet soup- ABS, VSC, TRAC, PCS and others all work together to prevent an accident, predict an accident and lessen the effect of any collision that couldn't be avoided.

The International Institute for Highway Safety hasn't released its data on the new van yet, but it's essentially the exact same car and last year's model earned the institute's highest rating in all categories.

All Sienna models come with Toyota's three year / 36,000 mile bumper to bumper and five year/ 60,000 mile warranty.
