Not all commercial vehicles are big, unsightly vans and pickup trucks. Plenty of businesses choose standout cars and trucks that suit their practical needs while attracting attention with unique style and effective graphics. Although Mini's automotive offerings are small in scale, their cars are among the most noticeable on the road. So it's no surprise that many chic businesses choose Mini to give their own brand an upscale and stylish appeal.

The Clubvan, a new concept debuting at the Geneva Auto Show, arrives in typical Mini fashion, but adds more practicality for commercial applications both inside and out. The Clubvan Concept's two-seat configuration maximizes cargo capacity and its panel van-style opaque rear side windows increase space for graphics and branding on the vehicle's exterior.

Based on the Clubman, the Clubvan also uses a five door configuration, with a second, rear-hinged door on the right side of the vehicle and two side-hinged doors in back. But unlike the four-passenger Clubman, the two-seat Clubvan gets a larger cargo area with a flat floor instead of a rear seat. Six recessed anchor points are included to secure any load. A partition grille with a stainless steel honeycomb grate separates the cargo space from the passenger compartment for safety and security.

The Clubvan's dark-tinted rear windows and opaque side windows contribute to security too, obscuring tools or inventory from view. Polycarbonate is used in place of the rear side glass and is finished in the body color, providing a broad canvas for graphics or branding.

Mini recognizes the primary use of vehicles like the Clubvan concept - to provide not just transportation but marketing, too. Because vehicle graphics are so important to a commercial vehicle's dual roles, the show vehicle will feature hand-applied lettering promoting a vehicle graphics company in Mini's native Great Britain.

What it means to you: Commercial vehicles don't have to be big, boring trucks and vans. If a smaller and more economical vehicle suits your needs, choose a unique vehicle like a Mini and add graphics that reflect your business's image.
