SUVs are getting lots of attention from vehicle shoppers because of their expressive styling and cavernous interiors-but nearly all automakers are still building fantastic cars that merit consideration. We've searched through a wide variety of June incentives and special offers from many manufacturers. Here are great deals available all month on several of our favorite models.
Chevrolet's compact Cruze sedan is enjoying high demand from car shoppers. Nevertheless, the automaker is offering several good deals in June on the recently released model. For the 2012 Cruze, Chevrolet says, qualified buyers can get up to 60 months of financing, with rates as low as 2.9 percent. Buyers willing to consider the virtually indistinguishable 2011 model will find an even better deal, with available cash back of up to $500 or interest rates as low as 1.9 percent for 60 months. Best of all, the deal extends to the environmentally friendly Cruze Eco, which is capable of an impressive 42 mpg in highway driving.

Car shoppers interested in a sleek rear-wheel-drive sports car will find two attractive incentives available in June on Hyundai's performance-oriented Genesis Coupe. The 2012 model is the best deal, with monthly lease rates starting at $259 and interest rates as low as 0.9 percent for 36 months-but we prefer the recently refreshed 2013 model. Yes, its advertised lease rate is $30 per month more than its predecessor, and available interest rates climb to 1.9 percent for 36 months, but added performance on the latest model justifies the extra cost. In the base 2.0T model, horsepower climbs by 64 to reach a muscular 274 hp, while the brawny Genesis 3.8 adds 42 additional horses for a total of 348 hp. To us, that excuses the price increase, especially considering the 2013 model's sharply refreshed styling and an initial payment of only $2,699 due at lease signing.

With sporty driving dynamics and expressive styling, the Mazda3 is popular among car shoppers interested in a high-quality compact car. Until the end of June, it's also offered with incentives. For buyers looking to finance, the Mazda3 is available with interest rates as low as 0.9 percent for up to 36 months, a competitive offer that even applies to the practical Mazda3 hatchback. Lease shoppers can set up monthly payments starting at $195 for a well-equipped Mazda3i sedan or $234 per month for the hatchback after just under $2,000 due at signing.

The unfairly overlooked Suzuki Kizashi is available with several incentives in June. The best is an interest rate offer of 0 percent for a remarkable 72 months, the longest 0 percent term currently offered on any car. Cash buyers will also find a good deal: the automaker is advertising up to $1,500 back for most buyers or a whopping $2,000 back for current Suzuki owners. That's a huge figure for a car that starts under $20,000. Suzuki is also touting several lease deals on the compact sedan that counts the Honda Civic, Mazda3 and Toyota Corolla as rivals. Monthly lease payments start at $229 for the well-equipped Kizashi SE or just $189 per month for the base Kizashi S. Taking advantage of either deal requires a substantial down payment of more than $2,700.

Volkswagen's sharp Eos convertible offers four seats and a roomy trunk and is one of the least expensive folding-hardtop cars on the market. Shoppers interested in financing can get a good deal through the end of June, thanks to interest rates as low as 0 percent for up to 60 months. If you'd prefer to lease, don't get discouraged: Volkswagen is also offering a 36-month lease at $369 per month with $2,999 due at signing, allowing car shoppers to take delivery of an exciting new convertible but still have a reasonable monthly payment.
What it means to you: Many automakers are offering great deals on their cars throughout June.
