There are several revised and new Honda cars on display at the 2012 LA Auto Show. If you're shopping for a fuel-efficient family car, a Honda will likely end up on your short list. First, there's the 2013 Honda Accord. Opt for the 4-cylinder version, and you'll get an estimated 36 mpg on the highway. There's also a plug-in hybrid version of the Accord that gets 115 mpg-e. That means it gets the equivalent of 115 mpg when you factor in the car's ability to run purely on electric power some of the time.

The 2013 Honda Civic also gets a significant update with a sharper, more contemporary looking exterior along with a nicer interior.

Finally, there's the Honda Fit EV. It uses no gas at all and can comfortable seat a small family.
