The bar continues to be raised in the performance/luxury sedan category and Infiniti debuted what they hope will lure lots of new customers into their showrooms: a vehicle for those who are looking for sedans with all the right moves AND upscale accommodations.

The 2014 Infiniti Q50 replaces the outgoing G37, and is the first new sedan to receive the brand's updated nomenclature. All sedans and coupes will take on the Q prefix, while SUVs and crossovers will be identified by QX. The Q50 is powered by Infiniti's powerful 3.7-liter V6 tied into a 7-speed automatic transmission. A high-performance Q model sedan and a hybrid-powered version of this new entry from Infiniti are also on the drawing boards.
