The crossover SUV category remains a hotbed of new and more versatile entries. Acura is giving us a preview of what their top-of-the-line crossover will most likely look like when it hits the showroom.

The brand debuted the next generation Acura MDX SUV, a product that has helped to define the crossover category since its arrival in 2001. With styling described by Honda's luxury division as "aero sculpture", the next MDX will be longer, leaner, wearing a more aggressive front fascia, and steeply raked rear window. It's expected the 2014 MDX will go into production looking much like the concept version that was received with enthusiasm at the Detroit show.
