Audi S6: Prom (Worth It)

The Prom Super Bowl ad from Audi shows off one of its latest high-performance sedans, the new S6. The S6 is based on the latest version of Audi's midsize A6 sedan, which was redesigned for 2012.

All-new for 2013, the S6 uses Audi's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. That engine produces 420 horsepower and scoots the sedan to from 0-60 mph in around 4 seconds. Much of the reason for its sports car-like acceleration is due to the S6's high-tech S tronic dual-clutch transmission. The 7-speed automated manual makes lightning-quick shifts.

The Prom Super Bowl ad also touches on a major S6 design trait: its LED lighting. That, coupled with larger alloy wheels, helps to distinguish the sedan from its more conservative A6 counterpart. Between the aggressive styling and powerful motor, the confidence-boosting S6 gives you the courage to walk up to the prom queen and give her a kiss.
