The Volkswagen "Sunny Side" Super Bowl ad promises Volkswagen will make you happy. The ad features several popular YouTube videos that show angry people. Each one is then shown in a happier state, contrary to their YouTube personality.
Volkswagen offers ten different models, ranging from the entry-level Golf to the upscale Touareg SUV. The Jetta, Volkswagen's most popular model, accounts for nearly 30 percent of the brand's sales. The Jetta starts around $17,500, though a well-equipped GLI model can reach nearly $30,000. Other popular Volkswagen models include the Passat sedan, Tiguan crossover, and Beetle hatchback.
Volkswagen's other Super Bowl ad, entitled "Get Happy," joins the Volkswagen "Sunny Side" ad in trying to help car shoppers perk up.
