Hyundai teamed up with the band The Flaming Lips for its Epic Playdate Super Bowl ad, featuring the redesigned 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. The commercial shows a family enjoying an exciting day together, thanks in part to their Santa Fe.

The focus of the ad is the full-size Santa Fe, which features three rows of seating. This model just went on sale, joining the five-passenger Santa Fe Sport. While the smaller Sport is only available with 4-cylinder engines, the 7-passenger Santa Fe uses a 290-horsepower 3.3-liter V6. Hyundai says the extended Santa Fe replaces the discontinued Veracruz, while the Santa Fe Sport picks up where the old Santa Fe left off.

The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe competes with popular three- row SUVs from rival automakers, including the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander.
