The all-new 2013 Lincoln MKZ stars in Lincoln's Steer the Script Super Bowl ad. This commercial was created using suggestions Tweeted to Jimmy Fallon. The surreal social media-inspired ad includes alpacas, aliens and a German hitchhiker.
This ad marks the first time many car shoppers will see the new MKZ, an entry-level luxury sedan designed to compete with the Infiniti Q50 and Lexus ES 350. Based on the redesigned Ford Fusion, the MKZ offers three engine choices: a 240-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder, a 300-hp V6 and a 188-hp hybrid 4-cylinder. The hybrid motor gets up to 45 mpg -- the best figures in its class.
The 2013 Lincoln MKZ went on sale in January. Prices start around $37,000 for a base model, while optional all-wheel drive adds around $1,900 to the bottom line. Innovative tech features include MyLincoln Touch infotainment and an automated parallel parking system.
