The all-new 2013 Lincoln MKZ luxury sedan stars in the brand's new Phoenix Super Bowl ad. The ad uses phoenix imagery to symbolize the rebirth of the Lincoln brand, with the MKZ leading the charge among a resurgence of Lincoln products.

Arriving in dealerships in January, the 2013 MKZ is based on the redesigned Ford Fusion midsize sedan. It competes with other midsize luxury sedans like the Infiniti Q50, Lexus ES and Cadillac CTS. The MKZ offers a choice of two gas engines: a 240-horsepower turbo 4-cylinder and a 300-hp V6. There's also a 188-hp 4-cylinder hybrid capable of getting a class-leading 45 miles per gallon.

With the Phoenix ad, Lincoln shows car buyers that it's intent on making a comeback -- and that the 2013 Lincoln MKZ is just the beginning.
