• Facebook contest open to consumers, dealers and most ATC employees
  • Players share photos and stories of using their cars to do good
  • Winner chooses one of six charities to receive $10,000 donation

AutoTrader.com is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a new Facebook contest that will award $15,000 to charitable causes. The contest invites participants to share photos and stories of how they use their cars to do good things in their communities.

The winner gets to choose one of six charitable organizations to receive a $10,000 donation, while the other five charities will be given $1,000 each. Consumers, dealers and ATC employees who did not work directly on this campaign are all invited to participate.

For 15 years, AutoTrader has been serving car shoppers, helping them find the best deals around. Helping out in the community has always been a priority for the company, too. AutoTrader has identified the following six charitable organizations as strategic community partners: American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, EarthShare, Feeding America, Ronald McDonald House Charities and Special Olympics.

To enter, visit the AutoTrader.com 15YR/$15K Charity Giveaway on Facebook. Upload a photo and write a description of how you use your vehicle to do something positive in your community. Vote for your favorites, and ask your friends to do the same. You can enter the contest anytime between now and May 25th. Voting is open to anyone with a Facebook profile through June 2nd.

The winner not only chooses the group that gets the $10,000 donation but also gets a token of recognition for helping out: a free $100 gas card. The winner will be announced on June 5.

What it means to you: Do you use your car to help out in your community? If so, help AutoTrader celebrate its 15th anniversary and enter the 15YR/$15K Charity Giveaway on Facebook.
