What Is It?
The Toyota Camry is the best-selling car in the United States, and now it offers a totally new look for 2015. It's not fully redesigned, but updates to the latest Camry are so extensive that you'll be forgiven for thinking it's a completely different car from today's model.
The biggest updates come to the outside. Toyota uses the term "athletic" to describe the Camry's new exterior, and we certainly wouldn't disagree. A totally new front end gives the car a more aggressive look, while new lines on the side help it maintain a sporty profile. The car's rear end is also streamlined, completing a surprisingly thorough update for a car that isn't completely redesigned.
Changes continue inside the Camry, where the dashboard has been totally redesigned for the 2015 model year. The center control stack is especially different, offering a more traditional look than last year's upright design. The changes also suggest that the Camry's controls are within easier reach of drivers and passengers.
Other updates to the latest Camry are largely detail-oriented. Owing to the popularity of the Camry SE, there's a new XSE trim level with extra features and larger wheels. The brand will also offer a sporty SE version of its fuel-efficient Camry Hybrid, allowing shoppers to combine the SE's sporty looks with the Hybrid's excellent gas mileage.
Toyota hasn't announced pricing, but we wouldn't expect a significant leap over today's starting figure of around $23,000 with shipping.

The Toyota Camry is already one of the most popular vehicles on the market, and changes for the 2015 model year will likely only increase its popularity. Handsome new looks, an updated interior and additional trim levels will boost the car's appeal, keeping it competitive in the aggressive world of the midsize sedan.
Other Cars to Consider
Ford Fusion -- The handsome Ford Fusion is among our favorite midsize sedans. Offered as a hybrid, a plug-in hybrid or with a variety of gasoline engines, the Fusion boasts something for everyone. It also offers a long list of available features and technology.
Honda Accord -- With every redesign, the Honda Accord seems to get a little better, and that's especially true of the current model, which came out for the 2013 model year. We like its interior, its features and its highly efficient hybrid variant.
Mazda6 -- If horsepower isn't high on your list of needs, consider the gorgeous Mazda6. It offers an excellent driving experience, an impressive list of standard and available equipment and a fuel-efficient 4-cylinder engine.
