• Hyundai's new 2015 Sonata will start from $21,960 with shipping
  • Sedan offers four trim levels: SE, Sport, Limited and Sport 2.0T
  • The 2015 Sonata is expected to reach dealerships in June

The 2015 Hyundai Sonata will start from $21,960, including destination, when it goes on sale in June. That's the latest from Hyundai, whose pricing for the latest Sonata represents a $300 drop in the sedan's base price compared to the outgoing 2014 model. Much like today's model, the base-level 2015 Sonata SE will feature a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine and a long list of typical convenience features, ranging from automatic windows to USB connectivity and a multi-function steering wheel.

Drivers interested in additional equipment can upgrade to one of three upscale trim levels: Sport, Limited and Sport 2.0T. The first is the Sonata Sport, which starts at $23,985 and features the same 2.4-liter engine as the base model. It adds heated front seats, larger alloy wheels, and other visual tweaks such as a more aggressive front end. The Limited -- which starts at $27,335 with shipping -- adds a long list of upgrades, ranging from LED taillights and leather upholstery to dual-zone automatic climate control and an improved sound system. Sonata Limited models also include standard blind spot monitoring and other high-tech safety gadgets.

Topping the Sonata's range is the sedan's Sport 2.0T model, which starts from $29,385 with shipping. In addition to boasting a few extra standard features -- such as 18-inch alloy wheels and bi-xenon headlights -- the Sonata Sport 2.0T has a more powerful turbocharged engine that offers an impressive 245 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

There are several enticing option packages available to owners of the new sedan. There's a Popular Equipment package, which features a backup camera and Bluetooth; there's a Technology package, with a touchscreen infotainment system and navigation; and there's an Ultimate package, which includes adaptive cruise control and automatic high beams.

According to Hyundai, shoppers interested in the latest Sonata can check out the sedan for themselves when it reaches dealers in June.

What it means to you: With pricing announced, the all-new 2015 Hyundai Sonata is inching ever closer to its June on-sale date.
