What's new: The 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO was only offered for one year as the high-performance variant to the 599 GTB Fiorano.


The 599 GTO was a high-performance variant of Ferrari's high-dollar 599 GTB Fiorano exotic super car. The 599 GTO was only offered for one model year (2011) before 599 production was stopped to make way for the upcoming F12 Berlinetta.

Like the standard 599 GTB, the 599 GTO was powered by a 6.0-liter V12. But the GTO added 50 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque. The result was 670 hp and 448 lb-ft. Even more drastic changes were made to the 599 GTO model's exterior. Revisions included unique wheels, a carbon fiber roof, a lowered ride height and dramatic front and rear diffusers. Unlike the 599 GTB, the 599 GTO did not offer a convertible body style.

The 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO was only offered in limited numbers. For interested buyers who could get their hands on the exotic super car, pricing started at $430,000. That made it around $100,000 more expensive than a standard 599 GTB. A 6-speed, single-clutch automatic was the only transmission offered.
