Pros: "King of the road" driving feel; well-equipped interior uses the finest materials; immense torque for strong acceleration at all speeds

Cons: Love-it-or-hate-it styling, thanks to huge circular lights; high cost hard to justify considering Continental Flying Spur; feels heavy, even with 752 lb-ft on tap

What's New: The Mulsanne adds new features for 2014, including Wi-Fi hot spot capability, an upgraded comfort page and new entertainment options that include two rear tables with iPads.

The 2014 Bentley Mulsanne marks the fourth model year of Bentley's flagship sedan, which replaced the Arnage in 2011. Like its Arnage predecessor, the Mulsanne boasts a 6.75-liter V8. While that engine doesn't boast as many cylinders as the W12 in the smaller Continental Flying Spur, it does offer amazing numbers: 505 horsepower and a massive 752 lb-ft of torque, all sent to the sedan's rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The result is an incredible 202 miles per hour top speed and 0-to-60-mph times in the sports-car-rivaling mid-4-second range.

While the Mulsanne doesn't offer trim levels, it does include a few new options and standard features for the 2014 model year. For instance, the sedan's cabin is now a Wi-Fi hot spot. The new comfort package boasts adjustable seat bolsters, taller headrests, carpet-trimmed footrests and seat cushions filled with duck down feathers. And a new entertainment package boasts two rear tables that include iPads with wireless keyboards.

Interested in a 2014 Bentley Mulsanne? Be prepared to fork over $300,000, and that's before options, which can add up quickly. It's a hefty figure considering that Bentley's more popular Continental Flying Spur sedan starts around $100,000 less. However, the Mulsanne is a relative bargain compared to the $400,000 base price of its chief rival, the full-size Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan.
