With an all-new model right around the corner, is the 2014.5 Toyota Camry even worth your time? Of course it is; anything with the legendary Camry name should be taken seriously. The current Camry is still one of the best family sedans, and this year, Toyota is giving it a great send-off with some cool new features. Here are five reasons to grab a 2014.5 Camry before they're all gone.

Packed With Features

The 2014.5 Camry comes with a standard rearview camera, and the touchscreen audio is upgraded, too. There were already plenty of standard luxuries, including Bluetooth and USB connectivity. If you want something sporty, there's the SE with its firmer suspension, and the fancy XLE is almost Lexus-like. No matter which model you choose, the Camry's features are a pleasant surprise.

Performance and Fuel Efficiency

Even the Camry's base 4-cylinder engine is no slouch with 178 horsepower. It gives you 35 miles per gallon on the highway, which is better than some economy cars. If you can live with 31 mpg from the optional V6, you're gonna love the extra juice. The V6 pumps out 268 hp, and it feels even stronger than that on the road. This rare blend of acceleration and efficiency will never go out of style.

Smooth, Quiet Ride

One of the Camry's calling cards has always been its comfortable ride, and the current model continues that tradition. Cruising down the highway in a Camry is like chilling on the couch. It's a luxury-car experience at a reasonable price. Toyota knows what Camry folks expect, and the 2014.5 model is just as smooth and quiet as ever.

Family-Sized Back Seat

Another Camry trademark is its full-size back seat. Although Toyota also sells the larger Avalon, you really don't need more room than this. Whether you have a growing family or just want to carry four adults in style, the Camry's at the head of its class. The bottom cushion is nice and high for robust thigh support, yet there's plenty of headroom for taller passengers. Legroom will never be an issue.

Excellent Resale Value

When you buy a new car, you want it to hold its value over time. That's definitely not a problem with the Camry. Even if you put 100,000 miles on yours, don't sweat it; there's always a market for a used Camry in good condition. In fact, if you maintain your new Camry properly and keep it clean, you might be able to sell it in a few years for close to what you paid in the first place.

AutoTrader Says

Sure, there's a new Camry waiting in the wings for 2015, but you can get a great deal on the current model right now. We'd also suggest taking a look at the 2014.5 Toyota Camry right when the 2015 model debuts because the prices could go even lower.
