Chevrolet is the most popular GM brand, with models ranging from the subcompact Spark to the full-size Suburban and just about everything else in between. Read on to learn more more about all of the new Chevrolet cars, trucks and SUVs, as well as updates to existing models.
2013 Chevrolet Avalanche
The Avalanche pickup heads into its final model year with several new standard features. On base-level LS models, that means power adjustable pedals and remote engine starting, while LT trims get a new back-up camera. The Avalanche also gets a Black Diamond Edition model with body-color trim.
2013 Chevrolet Camaro
Although the 2013 Camaro won't look any different from last year's model, the sporty two-door receives several updates. Among them is the high-performance ZL1 model with 580 horsepower, a newly available navigation system, Chevy's MyLink infotainment system and a driver-oriented 1LE Performance Package for SS models.
2013 Chevrolet Colorado
Chevrolet hasn't yet announced plans for the U.S.-version of the 2013 Colorado, though it has revealed an all-new version of the Colorado to be sold in other parts of the world. It's likely that this updated model will eventually find its way here, possibly in 2013. (Non-U.S. version of new Colorado shown.)
2013 Chevrolet Corvette
The Corvette marks the last year of its current generation with several updates. In addition to now standard black wheels on Grand Sport models and a new 60th Anniversary Design Package, the 2013 Corvette's main attraction is the new 427 Convertible, which offers the same performance as the wild Z06 Coupe in convertible form. A brand-new 2014 Corvette will be unveiled soon.
2013 Chevrolet Cruze
The Cruze gains several new features for 2013. Upscale 2LT and LTZ models add standard MyLink, which includes a color touchscreen radio with Bluetooth and streaming audio. Additionally, a new Enhanced Safety Package includes rear parking sensors and blind spot monitors.
2013 Chevrolet Equinox
Updates to the 2013 Equinox include swapping out last year's 3.0-liter V6 engine for a new 3.6-liter unit. The SUV also adds available MyLink infotainment, a rear seat DVD player and a new safety package with lane departure warning, forward collision assist and rear park assist.
2013 Chevrolet Express
Chevrolet's full-size Express van adds an available navigation system, back-up camera and rear parking sensors for the 2013 model year.
2013 Chevrolet Impala
The Impala receives minimal changes ahead of an all-new 2014 model which will arrive in dealerships sometime in 2013. The most important is a new Luxury Edition package, which includes heated leather front seats, Bose sound and a year of satellite radio.
2013 Chevrolet Malibu
The midsize Malibu is completely redesigned for 2013. In addition to new interior and exterior styling, the sedan gains a new 259-hp turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a hybrid Eco model capable of 29 mpg in combined driving. The Malibu also now offers Chevy's MyLink infotainment technology.
2013 Chevrolet Silverado
The Silverado 1500 pickup is one of the few Chevrolet models that are unchanged for 2013, pending an upcoming redesign. The heavy-duty Silverado 2500 adds an available natural gas V8. The all-new 2014 Silverado should be unveiled soon.
2013 Chevrolet Sonic
Changes to the subcompact Sonic are minimal for 2013. The biggest news is a new Sonic RS model, which touts sporty suspension, improved brakes and 17-inch alloys. Bluetooth and blind spot mirrors are also newly standard for all models, while MyLink is newly optional.
2013 Chevrolet Spark
The all-new Spark is the smallest car ever sold by Chevrolet in the U.S. Starting under $13,000, the 5-door hatchback-only Spark includes an 84-hp 4-cylinder engine that can return up to 38 mpg on the highway. It also includes available MyLink infotainment along with standard alloy wheels and power windows.
2013 Chevrolet Suburban
The 2013 model year adds only one feature to the full-size Suburban SUV: powertrain grade braking, which automatically slows down the SUV on steep hills to reduce brake wear.
2013 Chevrolet Tahoe
Like its Suburban cousin, the sole change to the 2013 Tahoe is the addition of standard powertrain grade braking.
2013 Chevrolet Traverse
The Traverse crossover receives major revisions for 2013 with a redesigned front and rear end and several interior changes. The Traverse also adds Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system and an industry first front-center airbag, which offers greater protection in a side impact.
2013 Chevrolet Volt
In addition to an electric-only range that's increased to 38 miles, a new Low Emissions Package lets the Volt use the carpool lanes in California and New York. Other updates include new safety features like a forward collision alert and a lane departure warning system.
