Volkswagen's sales have surged in the last few years thanks to several all-new models and more competitive pricing. Read on to learn more about all of the new VW cars and SUVs, as well as updates to existing models.
2013 Volkswagen Beetle
The recently redesigned Beetle offers two new versions for 2013. A new soft-top convertible variant bows for the new model year, while a more efficient diesel-powered TDI model also joins the lineup. A new trim level, the Beetle Fender Edition, comes with navigation and a premium Fender sound system.
2013 Volkswagen CC
The midsize CC sedan offers revised front and rear styling for the 2013 model year. A new bench seat in back offers room for three passengers, replacing the old split backseat that could only carry two. There's also a sporty new R-Line trim level for 2013.
2013 Volkswagen Eos
A new Sport trim level includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a lowered sport suspension, rear spoiler and high-intensity headlights. The sport suspension is now standard on the Eos Lux, while the Eos Executive gains a standard backup camera.
2013 Volkswagen Golf
Four-door models with the 2.5-liter engine gain an automatic transmission as standard equipment. The 2013 Golf also gets standard floor mats and a center armrest.
2013 Volkswagen GTI
There are no changes to the sporty GTI for the 2013 model year.
2013 Volkswagen Jetta
While updates to the 2013 Jetta mainly include minor details like a standard center armrest and power reclining front seats on SE models, the new model year also marks the debut of a new version. The fuel-efficient Jetta Hybrid pairs a 4-cylinder gas engine to an electric motor for up to 45 mpg in combined city and highway driving.
2013 Volkswagen Passat
After last year's redesign, the midsize Passat receives minimal changes for 2013. Updates include rear air vents on all models except the base-level Passat S and a standard backup camera on the Passat SEL.
2013 Volkswagen Routan
The Routan minivan, which shares its platform with the Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country, is unchanged for 2013.
2013 Volkswagen Tiguan
Changes to Volkswagen's compact Tiguan crossover include a new electronic parking brake and a new leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel. The upscale Tiguan SEL also adds a standard backup camera for 2013.
2013 Volkswagen Touareg
In addition to several minor changes, like LED taillights for the Touareg Hybrid, VW's larger SUV adds 15 horsepower to its V6-powered diesel model for a total of 240.
